The organization successfully conducted a comprehensive workshop on “Vitamin A Supplementation and Deworming” at the HANDS Office, Gooty, with the active participation of health staff from all four HIV Prevention Units—Gooty, Dhone, Pathikonda, and Nandikotkur.
The workshop was supported by Vitamin Angels and implemented in accordance with UNICEF guidelines. This joint initiative by HANDS and Vitamin Angels aimed to strengthen the capacity of field-level health staff to effectively deliver essential child health services, particularly Vitamin A supplementation and deworming, within the organization’s target communities.
The program enhanced participants’ technical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring improved outreach and quality health services for children in the operational areas of HANDS.
